The Organization:
CycleYouth is a non-profit bicycle racing team dedicated to the development of young cyclist. We have joined forces with Training Wheels, Inc. as a premier off-road racing developmental program. Training Wheels, Inc. was established in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized in the state of Georgia. Training Wheels, Inc. sole purpose is to establish a comprehensive bicycle-racing program for young men and women between the ages of 13 and 18 with an additional for U-23's.
Our goal with CycleYouth is two part. One is to develop young racers to compete on a national level. Through intelligent career planning and top-notch coaching we can succeed in turning out the best the southeast has to offer. Currently our junior racers are some of the best in the nation. Secondly, is to provide a general life-long understanding of health and well being through the sport of cycling for our youth.
The Mission for us is to raise the money required to fund and implement such a program.
CycleYouth will consist of racers of varying abilities and ages to whom we nurture. We move riders to the top tier when they are ready to compete and train at the highest levels. These riders receive more specific attention regarding their training and racing needs. Our efforts are building an elite level junior racing program here in the southeast.
